EasyBCD is a Windows program which was created by Mahmoud Al-Qudsi which simplifies the process of editing a computer's Boot Configuration Data. It enables users to repair boot entries (in case they have been corrupted or overwritten) or add them for any other reason, such as creating a multiboot environment. This process can be completed using nothing more than the graphical interface. However, advanced text editing is also offered. This program offers other options as well, such as backup and restoration of the BCD.
Other configuration options are also available, including limiting the number of "cores" (processors, either physical or virtual) as well as basic Windows Control Panel options, System Restore and System Information functions.[1]
