More critical of the Sabbath?
In Mark 2:23–28, the section is titled "Jesus Is Lord of the Sabbath." Was Mark necessarily critical of the Sabbath itself, or was he critical of how other Jews treated the Sabbath? In the Gospels, I believe the dispute between Jesus and Pharisees/scribes was over how the Sabbath was kept, not over whether it was to be kept or not at all. —LT (Exodus 23:2) Tuesday, 20:00, December 26, 2022 (EST)
