Rhonda Leger Butler (born September 3, 1963) is the Republican state representative for District 38 in Evangeline and St. Landry parishes, Louisiana. She resides in Ville Platte but formerly lived in Turkey Creek, both communities in Evangeline Parish.[1]

With 8,880 votes (60 percent), Butler defeated two Democrats, "Phil Cowboy" Lemoine who received 3,920 votes (27 percent) and Taranza Arvie (born 1962) of Ville Platte, who polled 1,965 (13 percent). Turnout of registered voters was 54.9 percent.[2] Butler assumed the seat on January 13, 2020, when she succeeded Democratic Representative Bernard LeBas, who was term-limited in the House and instead ran unsuccessfully for the District 28 seat in the state Senate.
