-{{Cquote|One of my favorite parables is the parable of the oyster and the sand where the irritation of the sand causes the oyster to produce a beautiful pearl. It encapsulates life where overcoming problems - including evil or immature men - produces character, creativity and skill development. It can also cause us to leave inferior opportunities and pursue superior opportunities. For example, if you work for a company with lower standards in terms of the quality of workers they hire, the irritations of working in such an environment may cause you to seek work where you are working with people of a much higher caliber. And often the compensation is higher at a better company.
-The Internet Encyclopedia of Philosophy points out that [[Alvin Plantinga]] "claims God and evil could co-exist if God had a morally sufficient reason for allowing evil. He suggests that God's morally sufficient reason might have something to do with humans being granted morally significant free will and with the greater goods this freedom makes possible." -Recently, I removed my communication with a very toxic person in my life. In church parlance, you could say that I excommunicated them from my life. This has been very freeing
-However, in other case, I assertively let another person know that I would put up with any toxic behavior and since then that person has been fine to deal with. Sometimes you have reasonable people in your life who are under a lot of pressure in their lives and lash out or they have subject matters that set them off and are best avoided in terms of discussion or just delayed being talked about (As wise King Solomon said, "There is a season for everything under the sun".
