Malcolm Fraser (born May 21, 1930) was prime minister of Australia from 1975 to 1983 and leader of Australia's main conservative party, the Liberal Party. Since his time as Prime Minister he has adopted positions on several issues that place him significantly further to the left than the party he once led.
