-:::Until you get your bearings, a great way to get started is to hit the "random page" button until you see something that needs fixing. Often times the title won't be bolded, or there might be a spelling mistake or something. Over time you start to get a better handle on the type of articles we have, and how they are generally written. Once you feel comfortable enough, you can go into the [[special:wantedpages|wanted pages]] and start creating new articles that interest you, or you can make revisions to articles, whatever floats your boat. Some people like going through those lists, others have certain areas of interest; I'm currently checking every single chemistry article over for correctness! You'll find your niche rather quickly, I think.

-First of all, there are certain things I like about both candidates:
-Ron Paul- Were he to get elected, he might bring the Party to the Libertarian/Constitutional Wing. After a scurrilous few years of Bush's scant regard for constitutional rights and responsibilities as President to uphold those rights, he'd be a breath of fresh air.
-Economically we differ, but I don't care so much about what he'll do to your welfare systems because I don't live there. Socially, he might just end the lunatical 'war on drugs' once and for all.
-Obama- Electing Obama would create an icon for the African American community to look up to. There seems to be a shortage of role models there - Were I a Black American father, I'd teach my kids to look up to him. Furthermore, he is on the Evangelical side, so him being elected might just fragmentise the Religious Right, which holds far too much power in America.

Gore's been made fun of for years over that statement, and simply saying "Al Gore claimed to have invented the internet" without any citation or explanation only makes us look like a decade-old Saturday Night Live episode (one of the good ones though, not this junk they have on now). Is the idea for articles to be written from a blatantly conservative point of view? I came here because I agree that there is a liberal bias on Wikipedia, which is why I will never identify what my user name there is, but I'm pretty sure that I will have a harder time standing a conservative bias, seeing as I am socially liberal, and social issues are more prominent than economic issues. -:Conservapedia is a Christian friendly and conservative friendly encyclopedia. We have a conservative point of view, but per our [[Conservapedia:Commandments|rules]] and [[Conservapedia:Guidelines|guidelines]], opinion must be cited, verifiable, and attributed. So for social issues, you are generally ok saying "X said Y [insert reference here]," but not "Y is the truth." The important thing to remember is to be cooperative, not argumentative, and to follow the commandments. If you do that you shouldn't have any problems.
