The Chicago Seven Trial concerned the behavior of several activists during a demonstration held in Chicago during the Democratic National Convention.
There were actually eight defendants, of which the most famous were Abbie Hoffman, Jerry Rubin, Tom Hayden and Bobby Seale.
The indictment charged them with incitement to riot, among other things. [1]
