Adobe Flash is popular development software made by Adobe Systems used to create flash animations or applications (generally games or websites). It is widely known, although not as much so as Adobe Photoshop. Macromedia developed Flash up until version CS2 when it was bought by Adobe. The current version is CS6. In 2017, it was announced that Adobe would discontinue its flash player development by 2020.[1]
