Quantum evolution according to creation scientist Dr. Jerry Bergman is an evolutionary concept that postulates "rapid ‘all or none’ evolution caused by large, contrasting differences between adaptive zones in temperature or other environmental conditions. The postulated source of genetic variety is mutations, often macromutations called ‘key mutations’."[1] The evolutionary concept of quantum evolution was created by the paleontologist George Gaylord Simpson.[2]
