Surrey is a county in south-east [[England]], directly to the south of [[London]]. Much of it is now part of London. It is the location of some of the most expensive real estate in Europe owing to its location on the southern fringe of London and despite being largely suburban in nature, remains heavily wooded. The pleasant [[North Downs]] Hills run East - West through the county and afford some stunning views over surrounding countryside to the south and London, to the north.
