I was also looking to add an image to [[Rare (company)]], hopefully of the company logo, but I was just wondering if that was allowed under "Fair use" or not? I am not an expert in copyright law, and I know that this site takes that very seriously. Any help would be appreciated. :That's not a bad idea, but we won't generally use trademarks without permission. While WP regularly does so, or simply declares them public domain, we try to better respect the owners' rights. If you want to use their logo, I would suggest asking them if that is alright. If we can get written permission, then I or any other SysOp would be happy to upload it. However, without permission from them, we probably should not use it. You could as Andy for a second opinion, of course, but especailly with his background in law, he probably will be inclined to stay on the safe side. If you can find some image related to them, but not owned by them, that may also be usable. For example, a photograph of Rare's CEO which has been released under Creative Commons or Public Domain guidelines could be used. It's up to you, but we probably shouldn't use their logo without asking.
