Be warned, though; it may seem as though you are "spamming" links to external sites. We have problems with people linking to their blogs from here.--Abcqwe (talk) 16:17, 15 May 2017 (EDT)

That's a link to your own .wordpress. Hardly a long list of supporters of common core. I'll let someone else take care of it, but do be careful posting external links in which your name is in the URL. Keep it to a minimum at most. == Formatting ==

In response to your question on the Corporate bullies article, you really should do the formatting yourself. I, and probably other editors, am too busy to help you, and this is a lot of information. Please try to make articles you edit look nice. --1990'sguy (talk) 22:23, 15 September 2017 (EDT)

::Also, please avoid double spaces in your edits. You made quite a few in the Corporate bullies article. --1990'sguy (talk) 23:11, 15 September 2017 (EDT)

Sometimes it was because I copy/pasted and, while it appeared pretty when I double spaced it, when I tried single space, it was ugly unless I special formatted it. Nonetheless, I usually fixed it (I think the spot where I did the Colorado amnesty supporters is still double spaced. PatriotMongoose (talk) 17:42, 21 September 2017 (EDT)

Thanks for writing the corporate bullies article. I gave it a new title
+

I changed the title of the article "corporate bullies" to the title of Corporate tyranny as I thought that was more encyclopedic in tone.

Thanks for writing the article on this important subject.Conservative (talk) 07:54, 28 September 2017 (EDT)

I was going to try and make an article called "Sanctuary Movement" to refer to the churches and parachurch groups that are helping hide illegals (and openly saying they are too!). I could even quote directly from their own page(s) what they say they are doing. (Not that I fully believe them but it makes it harder for them to whine or demand it taken down if we just quote them flat out.) However, I cannot for the life of me find the "Create page" link or button anywhere on here. PatriotMongoose (talk) 21:53, 1 October 2017 (EDT)
+

+
I could also expand the "Sanctuary Movement" stuff to be more broad and include the church groups plus open sanctuary campuses (college that openly call themselves sanctuary or that openly refuse to work with ICE or identify illegals.) Could expand it to a big amount actually down to even the towns and states. And yes, it would be backed up by sources. However, I don't seem to have the power to create a page, though. PatriotMongoose (talk) 21:53, 1 October 2017 (EDT)

Our coalition consists of seven non-profit organizations, 15 grassroots immigrant community organizations, and hundreds of individual members.

ACIJ is creating a strong grassroots base through an unparalleled organizing and leadership development campaign in immigrant communities across the state, while building alliances with other marginalized communities and non-immigrant allies.

The Center for American Progress
+

+
The Center for American Progress (CAP) is an independent nonpartisan educational institute dedicated to improving the lives of Americans through progressive ideas and action. Building on the achievements of progressive pioneers such as Teddy Roosevelt and Martin Luther King, our work addresses 21st-century challenges such as energy, national security, economic growth and opportunity, immigration, education, and health care. We develop new policy ideas, critique the policy that stems from conservative values, challenge the media to cover the issues that truly matter, and shape the national debate. Please do not create any articles of which the main content is the list of sponsors. The purpose of CP is not exclusively to document who finances who (even though that might be a good idea at times). --1990'sguy (talk) 22:55, 3 October 2017 (EDT)

:Maybe I shouldn't have been so harsh in my message. It's not a good idea to put the advertisers/sponsors of various people or organizations, because it's not necessary and because it takes up a lot of space. It does not make the article interesting or encyclopedic. I recommend only doing it if the article's topic is truly outrageous -- when a sponsor or advertiser truly is endorsing the left-wing agenda, rather than doing it for a profit. --1990'sguy (talk) 23:17, 3 October 2017 (EDT)

I guess in the case of the liberal media people like The View, Rachel Maddow, Shephard Smith, as well as the NFL and NCAA (all of whom technically are advertising for them or on them for a profit), people might just want to know (especially with the mess in the NFL (and how the NCAA, like the NFL, has gone to being political and attacking religious liberty bills and the NFL went further by insulting the National Anthem and being somewhat sympathetic to Black Lives Matter.) I had thought that a wiki format would be ideal for advertisers as they change so much. If, however, you would prefer that I don't, then I won't do it anymore (I already did it for the NFL, NCAA, Shepard Smith, Al Sharpton, etc.) PatriotMongoose (talk) 23:29, 3 October 2017 (EDT)

:I reverted most (I don't think all) of it. As I said, a lot of this is boring and doesn't add much to the articles (the advertisers are often not directly related to the article). The formatting doesn't help either (the list is very long and takes up a lot of space). In many of these cases, it is not clear that these advertisers are endorsing a left-wing agenda. If a company is truly non-partisan, they will advertise on both liberal and conservative channels because they are highly-watched. If I were an advertiser advertising for a product having nothing to do with politics, I would advertise both in liberal and conservative channels so the most people see my ads. Simply advertising on CNN or another show does not automatically make a company liberal. It is only proof if these companies refuse to also advertise on conservative shows and/or if they make it very clear that they are endorsing a left-wing agenda rather than simply advertising.

:That doesn't mean you can't make any edits about this -- just do it in the right places and situations. A lot of these edits almost look like spam. --1990'sguy (talk) 23:39, 3 October 2017 (EDT)
