Tim Ryan is the Democratic party representative from Ohio's 13th Congressional District (Youngstown) in the U.S. House.

Ryan worked as an aide to Congressman Jim Traficant. He succeeded Traficant after winning election to the U.S. House on November 5, 2002.

Prior to his election to the U.S. House, Ryan served in the Ohio State Senate, representing District 32 from 2001 to 2002.

Ryan announced that he was running for president of the United States on April 4, 2019.

Ryan has endorsed the totalitarian Medicare for All proposal.
