Wow! Someone let a lefty section of this article slip past the censors. Hooray for free speech!

I haven't taken geography since sixth grade, but I don't think Cuba is in the Gulf. Could be wrong though. GodlessLiberal 21:58, 30 April 2007 (EDT)

-Slavery was actually used longer in Brazil than Cuba, until 1888.  Some people say that that makes the United States the second last developed country to abolish slavery, but that is only because they count Brazil as a developed country.  Anyway, that needs amendment.
