Greetings Andy,
After years as both a multi-million dollar turnover business man after exiting years in church work, I will say this: Your equipment is overloaded choking the life blood out of your platform and whatever goal you created this for.
People hate donating to 'general expenses'. They need a giving goal to FEEL part of something. You need a new permenant page entitled "Our Needs" right above the donate button which you do need to update regularly. You need to find a way for people to donate to specific projects too so you may need bank account #1, #2 and #3 with donate links going into each one; you can funnel the money around at the completion of each project and repurpose said account. Great examples could be:
* New Server
* New Switch
* Bandwidth increase equipment
* General Expenses
* Wages
Tell the people what you need. Otherwise they feel their donations go into a black hole. While it is true that you can't say too much as your enemies will use it against you in ways a Christian can not imagine, you need to let people know what you need.
