Chris Benoit was a WWE professional wrestler. He died June 25,2008 in an apparent murder-suicide. There was speculation that the killings were due to "roid rage" because of the use of steroids. The chief medical examiner dismissed that speculation, saying the levels found were within the range expected as treatment for chronic pain.
