The Hmong are an ethnicity found throughout many parts of Southeast Asia, including Laos, Vietnam and Cambodia. During the Vietnam War, the Americans solicited the assistance of the Hmong fighters. Many Hmong refugees were resettled in the United States, principally California, Minnesota, and Wisconsin.
