- It's a response to the claim that Fischer was the only American to be world champion on the page. It's a fair point and I will clarify that he was the only OFFICIAL world champion. (There was no official world champion until Steinitz later in the 19th century.) DanH 23:17, 1 June 2008 (EDT)
