A friend is a person who is attached to another person by feelings of personal affection and mutual respect. A friend is someone who usually has similarities of personality and shares interests in enjoyable activities. A friend is someone who is on good terms with another person and is not hostile. Friendship is the state of being friends, and the opposite of a friend is an enemy.
A wonderful spouse is an even better friend.
