- It has been proposed that this page, :Neutral theory, be titled, "Neutral theory".
Neutral theory is type of unrestricted evolution. A coherent theory of neutral evolution was first formalized by Motoo Kimura in 1968. The idea that neutral mutations can help cause macro evolutionary changes over time.
