Philip Cooney was chief of staff of the White House Council on Environmental Quality during the George W. Bush administration. In 2005, he left that job to work for Exxon Mobil. Previously, he had worked as a lobbyist for the oil industry. He has recently come under malicious and deceitful attack from the environmentalism lobby for exercising executive control over government climate reports to emphasize the uncertainty in the scientific community about Global warming.[1]
