Bowling for Columbine is a 2002 Documentary directed by and starring leftist [[[Michael Moore]]. It is generally a pro-gun control film, and presents a mixture of facts and opinions in favor of gun control as well as against it (to a lesser degree) . The film's title comes from the fact that the Columbine High School killers, Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold, attended a bowling class before the murder spree (It was later discovered that they were absent for class).
The film won best documentary at the 2003 Academy Awards.
