Conan O'Brien is the former host of the Tonight Show, and the current host of Conan on TBS. He is an American Catholic of Irish descent. Before replacing Jay Leno as host, he hosted Late Night with Conan O'Brien, replacing liberal comedian David Letterman. O'Brien was also a former writer on The Simpsons and Saturday Night Live. He is a member of the Democratic Party and supports Gun control.
