Michael Alan Weiner, Ph.D. (born March 31, 1942) (aka Michael Savage) is a conservative talk show host. [1]
His nationally-syndicated radio show is called "Savage Nation". He is affectionately known as "Dr. Savage" because he holds a Ph.D. in economics (compare Dr. Laura).
He is famous for making inflammatory statements. In 2003, Savage was fired from MSNBC, after telling a homosexual caller "I hope you get AIDS and die, you pig."[2]
