However, I have written on the subject of the Proto-Indo-European language for Creationist publications, and I have never heard that view before. Is there a reference confirming who holds this view? It does not make sense to me because I am assuming that Hebrew developed with the Hebrews, who were not in existence at the time of the Tower of Babel. The idea that Proto-Indo-European was the language given to the descendants of Japheth makes a lot more sense and fits into the Biblical chronology. I left in (for now) the reference to Hebrew being the original language.
