Brexit is a campaign slogan for 'Britain's Exit' from the European Union. The British people will vote for the first time on remaining in membership of the EU by referendum held on June 23rd, 2016. Passions are running high as a sizable bloc of United Kingdom voters want out of the European Union. Prime Minister David Cameron is anti-Brexit in his commitment to staying in the EU. London mayor Boris Johnson has joined the Brexit campaign.

Eligible voters
- Voters must be 18 or older
- British, Irish or Commonwealth citizen who resides in Britain.
- British nationals who have lived overseas for less than 15 years can also vote.
