Jane Margaret Lakes Harman (born June 28, 1945), a Democrat, was United States Representative for California's 36th congressional district from 1993 to 1999 and from 2001 to 2011. She left Congress in 2011 to become president of the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars.

Harmon was an unsuccessful candidate for nomination as Governor of California in 1998.
