Ron DeSantis is the current conservative Governor of Florida, serving since January 2018. He previously served as a member of the United States House of Representatives from January 2013 to September 2018. He is a member of the Republican Party.
Florida Governor
DeSantis moved quickly to implement conservative policies as Florida's governor.[1] By the end of DeSantis's first month in office, he had already appointed three justices to the Florida Supreme Court, dramatically shifting it from a liberal to a conservative court.[2]
