This term has, in recent times, been used cynically by [[defeatism|defeatist]] fair-weather "conservatives" (i.e. those who choose to throw in the towel when faced with adversity) to describe those who refuse to give in to defeat and choose to remain in the fight against tyrannical leftism and the atrocities it commits.
