→Anti-lynching legislative history
Since you're the longstanding Conservapedia expert on Democrat racism, do you know anything about a 1942 federal anti-lynching bill filibustered by Bilbo? Almost everyone's familiar with Bilbo's "floodgates" speech against the Wagner–Van Nuys Act, though I don't think I read anything about anti-lynching legislation specifically in the year of 1942 until now. —<code><span style="background:#FF8181">LT</span></code> Smash Ukrofascism! Wednesday, 21:37, June 13, 2023 (EDT)

:I don't know anything specifically, other than these failed pieces of legislation often languish in Congress for years and decades until the Majority Leader picks it up and instructs committee chairmen to do something with it. Thousands of bills are introduced annually, but only a few hundred pass. Members all the time introduce bills of interest only to their constituents, so they can tell their voters, "I introduced a bill bla bla bla" while they hunt for allies with similar bills they can merge or trade votes with (log rolling).
