::::::Usually people say "observant Jew", but there's no indication Zelensky is "observant" or "practicing", as far as I know. I'm not sure what Korynko meant, perhaps he didn't want to say observant so he substituted "practicing" because of the perception that he is Jewish. Rosanne Barr said it best, "He's not a good one".
