The Democrats are counting on Trump being reputationally damaged by a guilty verdict on the Washington, D.C. court case on J6 which favors Democrats because juries in this liberal district are Democrats and anti-Trump. It might backfire and make Trump the Nelson Mandela of the USA - especially if the Supreme Court speedily accepts the case and overrules the verdict.

Presidents whose president terms that are under an economic recesssion during an election year never win the presidency. So that is the biggest risk to Biden's presidency. I think the odds of Biden dying this year is greater than him dropping out of the race. The longer he is president, the less likely it is that he will face criminal charges. If Trump wins, Trump may go after the jugular when it comes to Biden so Biden and/or his family members could wind up in prison. The historical reality and facts show it was Donald J. Trump who exposed the entire Epstein scandal. The DOJ & FBI never would have done it themselves.

China's building one small one, a copy of the Laoning, which was purchased from the the Russian Federation at the end of the Cold War. It's not being built to "project power" throughout the globe. So with only (1) Nikki (2) Vivek (3) DeSantis and (4) Trump left in the race, let's look at when people are likely to drop out.

My estimation is either one of Nikki or Vivek will cut a VP backroom deal with either Trump or DeSantis, then drop out once it is finalized.

Nikki, since SC is her home State, might stay in until Feb 3, and then drop out around Feb 4th or 5th or so, but if she struggles to pick up traction, maybe earlier.

DeSantis runs 2nd in Iowa and Haley has a chance to run 2nd in NH. If Desantis takes 2nd in NH, it's a two man race until Trump has enough delegates. If Haley survives NH, it one or the other, DeSantis or Haley get axed after South Carolina on Feb 3.

An important factor is fundraising. If either DeSantis or Haley appear to have done less than expected, fundraising dries up. By contrast, if Haley does better than expected in Iowa (not likely) or NH (a long shot), then the money starts poring to DeSantis detriment.
