Darth Vader is the principal villian of George Lucas's Star wars saga. The character was ranked as the third greatest villian in american film history by the American Film Insitute. With his "skull/samurai" helmet and imposing appearence, the character has become synonomous with dictatorial rule.
Original Trilogy
Darth Vader in the first three Star Wars movies is the archtype villian. After killing millions of lives, only at the end of the movies did his son, Luke Skywalker change him from his evvil ways.
New Trilogy
Vaders character was revamped. He started out as a n innocent boy to an almost purely evil character that was utterly corrupted by power.
