Encyclopedias don't strive for Readers Digest type content. I am afraid you are allowing your personal ideas to color what is and is not important in an article about an important public figure. In other words you took hedge shears to an article that needed fine trimming. Since you were previously warned/instructed not to do that, I am at a loss to understand your editing approach.
