The Inca are best known for their highly advanced road system, surpringly accurate medical knowledge, and calendar. The capital of the empire was in [[Cuzco]], in modern [[Perú]]. The most recognizable Inca city, however, is [[Macchu Piccu]], located high in the Peruvian [[Andes]].
