The full screen view in Internet Explorer 8 is supposed to hide toolbars automatically, but the Auto-Hide function can be disabled. To restore Auto-Hide:
- Press F11 (and bear with me a moment!)
- Press Alt-spacebar
- This brings up small menu in the upper-left portion of your screen
- Choose the Auto-
Hide command- Within 3 or 4 seconds, the toobars will go away.
