Assassination

Assassination is the act of murdering a high ranking politician or an otherwise important figure. Assassinations are usually politically motivated, compared with other murders, although many assassins suffered from some sort of mental imbalance. Revenge, monetary gain, and military operations may also be reasons for assassination.
