Josh Campbell was s Special Assistant to James Comey. Campbell resigned from the FBI on February 2, 2018. Campbell wrote an op-ed in the New York Times on why he was leaving the FBI but did not disclose in the op-ed that he was Special Assistant to Comey â or that he had been offered a lucrative CNN job. Campbell took the job with CNN on February 5, 2018.
