Explanation of change
Lest my motivations be again misunderstood, I will explain my partial reversion of HelpJazz's edit. This may be a cultural thing, but certainly in the UK the term 'hack' is most often applied to a journalist; indeed, is virtually a synonym for the trade of journalism. - It must be a UK thing, though hack journalist is possibly the most common usage. M-W uses the example "hack journalist", but the definition is more general [4]. (Interestingly, I had to look through quite a lot of hack definitions before this one actually came up). HelpJazz 18:39, 19 October 2008 (EDT)
