Acres of Diamonds was a popular motivational speech given by the Christian founder of Temple University, Russell H. Conwell, as he exhorted Christians to be prosperous and charitable. He reportedly delivered that speech more than 6,000 times.
The message is that anyone can become rich in the United States through hard work and clean living.
This has been considered a classic work since the 1870s.
