Collin Clark Peterson (born June 29, 1944) is a conservative Democrat who was a U.S. representative from Minnesota's 7th district. Peterson was among the founders of the Blue Dog Coalition.

Peterson, along with then-Democrat Jeff Van Drew, were the only Democrats to vote against both articles of impeachment against Donald Trump, although Jared Golden voted in favor of Article I and against Article II.[1]
Political positions
A pro-life Democrat, Peterson has had a conservative voting record on many issues while maintaining a liberal record on others, overall being ranked by On the Issues as a moderate populist.[2]
