The Everly Brothers were a musical act consisting of Isaac Donald Everly, born on February 1, 1937 in Brownie, Kentucky and Philip Everly, born on January 19, 1939 in Chicago, Illinois. They grew up performing with their parents, two country musicians, on radio and in small town live stage shows.
The Everly Brothers burst onto the national scene with their 1957 hit âBye, Bye Loveâ and followed with more than a dozen top ten hits including Hit Parade toppers, âWake Up Little Susieâ, âAll I Have To Do Is Dreamâ, âBird Dogâ, âDevoted To Youâ, âProblemsâ, âTake A Message To Maryâ, â'Til I Kissed Youâ, âLet It Be Meâ, âCathyâs Clownâ, When Will I Be Lovedâ, âSo Sadâ, âEbony Eyesâ, âWalk Right Backâ, Crying In The Rainâ and âThatâs Old Fashionedâ.
The Everly Brothers are the only act to have a #1 hit single on all of the Billboard charts, Pop 100, Country and R&B, at the same time. âAll I Have To Do Is Dreamâ topped the chart on all three surveys during the week of June 2, 1958.

In 1997, they were awarded a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award, they also have a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
