Humor in Hebrews
Humor in Hebrews are examples of extraordinary wit in the most literary book of the New Testament and in all of Greek writings: the Epistle to the Hebrews. This illustrates that humor is an important and useful tool to attaining happiness and understanding.
Examples (emphasis added):
- Hebrews 5:12Â : "For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the basic principles of the oracles of God. You need milk, not solid food ...."
- Hebrews 13:2Â : "Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for thereby some have entertained angels unawares."
