The big news here is the existence of an FBI file, (6) The even bigger news is moving up the food chain to full scale [[intelligence community]] knowledge and involvement, Brennan, Rogers, and Clapper. (7) Hersh is tying in the hit on Rich to the Deep State coup against Trump. (8) Judging by context, Hersh's source is higher up, high-level CIA, DoJ, or NSA on the low end of the scale to DNI's office in the middle, or the [[National Security Council]] staff at the top. A career employee, as I noted elsewhere. (9) [[John Brennan]] is a real work of art; I've been working on his bio and it needs updating. He & I are nearly the same age, and have shared nearly the same life experiences and perspectives.
