Federal Court upholds basic pro-life legislation
 +
 +
"A federal appeals court on Wednesday upheld a Missouri law that requires abortion clinics give every woman a booklet stating that life “begins at conception.” The unique case involves a female member of “The Satanic Temple” who became pregnant and then sued the state, asserting the law violates her religious beliefs and also violates the Establishment and Free Exercise Clauses of the First Amendment ...
 +
 +
A state, Stras said in the opinion, “does not establish religion by passing a law that just ‘happens to coincide or harmonize with the tenets of some or all religions.’”
 +
 +
“Some religions, including Catholicism, embrace the view that life begins at conception. Others, like Doe’s Satanism, do not. Any theory of when life begins necessarily aligns with some religious beliefs and not others,” Stras wrote. “So under Doe’s theory, Missouri’s only option would be to avoid legislating in this area altogether ... Stras was nominated by President Trump, as was Steven Grasz, who also joined the opinion. Duane Benton, the third judge to join the opinion, was nominated by President George W. Bush." https://www.christianheadlines.com/contributors/michael-foust/federal-court-upholds-pro-life-law-stating-each-human-being-begins-at-conception.html NishantXavierFor Christ the King 02:20, 12 June 2020 (EDT)

Catholic Tradition like the Didache has condemned abortion since Apostolic times. The pro-life movement in the United States, and around the world, owes a lot to the Catholic Church. It's not about Latin or Greek. The Didache says, "you shall not murder a child by abortion nor kill that which is begotten". https://www.newadvent.org/fathers/0714.htm You won't find a similar statement in Scripture alone, which is why some Sola Scriptura advocates were confused in the earlier days over whether or not to oppose abortion totally. The Catholic (and Orthodox) Church has always gone by Scripture+Apostolic Tradition, so there was no question that abortion was completely condemned by God. That is why the Church goes by Scripture+Tradition together. NishantXavierFor Christ the King 23:02, 12 June 2020 (EDT)

What does Obama want?
 +
 +
Black Lives Matter is far from being a revolt of the ghetto. Ann Coulter wonderfully described it as a gayed up version of the Black Panthers. Barack Obama and Eric Holder have carefully nurtured the group since the Ferguson episode in 2014. I guess now we know why. They was preparing the stage for the current revolt. Not coincidentally, BLM's most prominent victims are Hillary Democrats, who are getting purged from the management of the New York Times and elsewhere. Corporate America is pouring money into the group, which is passing it on to the Biden campaign. See "Exploited Again – Financial Contributions to Black Lives Matter are Being Funneled to Biden Campaign…." in Conservative Treehouse. This leads to the odd conclusion that Obama was already planning this revolt back when he thought Hillary would be elected president. If Ferguson was a trial run, it's obviously not about Biden. Obama himself yearns for a comeback. I don't think anything like this has happened in American politics before. But the Chinese recognize a Cultural Revolution when they see one. This is from Global Times: "‘Cultural Revolution’ in US shows divide between fringe and mainstream: expert" (In today's China, you can condemn the Cultural Revolution, but not Mao Zedong, the man who led it.) The Cultural Revolution, like the BLM/Antifa revolt, featured attacks on religion and statutes. The political logic for it is less well remembered. Mao had been blamed for the famine of the Great Leap Forward and demoted. He was staging a revolt against his more conservative successors, President Liu Shaoqi and Communist party boss Deng Xiaoping. He succeeded in regaining control. Even during Trump's covid-19 heyday, Obama was outpolling him. PeterKa (talk) 18:49, 12 June 2020 (EDT)

While Blacks have deep pride and emotion for what Obama represents - a coming of age and acceptance - the split between Obama and many blacks occurred while he was still president. Many see him for what he is, a swamp creature who doesn't care about his people. And they see the Democrats too as racists who judge people by the color of the skin rather than content of the character.  Black business owners and employers who had their businesses burnt down since 2014 all blame Obama, and these business owners are influential in hiring, granting opportunity, educating youth, and as role models. ::::::Mao defined 10 percent of the population as the enemy. This was the basis to abuse people as landlords and kulaks. ::::::Peter nailed it. We're seeing Maoist rectification where we don't see the violence. It began with Roseanna Barr and Jimmy Kimmel having to apologize. Roseanne wasn't a true believer and was ostracized and banished. Jimmy is a believer and is going through reeducation.
 +
 +
::::::Peter has one part of Maoist rectification backwards, however; it began among the true believers before the 1949 seizure of power. Mao, like Gideon in the bible, had too many warriors for the cause. Unlike Gideon, he murdered the excess of stragglers and opportunists to purify the band before the takeover of power. Since 1949 and particularly during the Cultural Revolution, intimidation through rectification was expanded to the general population. The persecution of Falun Gong is rectification. There are or were more Falun Gong than party members, and it would be difficult to exterminate them all. Hence rectification is decreed by the government ("socialism with Chinese characteristics").

The FBI opened Crossfire Hurricane on the Carter Page & Papadopoulos non-existent predicates, but Flynn was always the target (he knew too much from his DIA days; he was one of the heads of the 17 intelligence agencies, along with Comey, Clapper, Brennan, their deputies and staff. He knew where the bodies were buried).  McCabe and Strzok wanted to add Flynn to the CH investigation with no evidence to CYA. Lisa Page evidently was queasy about trumping up BS charges on Flynn. The good news is, 2/3rds of Americans oppose it: "Nearly two-thirds of Americans oppose the “defund the police” movement and some of its major goals, including reallocating funds earmarked for law enforcement to pay for other services that advocates believe would lead to reductions in crime, according to a new ABC News/Ipsos poll.

:I studied the polls and suspect this sentiment of "defunding" is loved by hard-core liberals and PhDs in gated communities (though not by all), but it runs shallow among the young and inexperienced who are willing to support it.
 +
 +
:When the young hear the survey question among other suggestions, they answer, "well, okay, we could try it".
 +
 +
:But when I was on a jury once, and the court officers first left the room, the mostly younger people (I was one of them) kind of grinned and cringed and said "so...how...do...we", and then I go, "Is there anyone here who's experienced in running meetings?"  Because I had run a few, and I thought it was a smart question.  So this business guy comes forward, and he doesn't answer me, but he starts running the jury.
 +
 +
:The younger people who were willing to do stuff but didn't know the best way to work together, kind of breathed out and looked relieved.  The point being that while many inexperienced people in the community would be willing to run the police station if they were told they were needed to by the community, they would much rather follow an experienced person than make isolated decisions on their own.  Which means they believe they should stand up for democracy, but they value the opinion of the same people who are able to make practical managed endeavors operate well (most of whom don't want to defund the police).  +
 +
"When a majority of Minneapolis City Council members pledged to 'begin the process of ending' the police department, they underplayed the difficulties ahead,"...
 +
 +
Even if true, more importantly, the paper that reported their "underplaying" understated the misconduct involved in their unanimous act.
 +
 +
The Minneapolis City Charter explicitly requires a police force of a certain size, so their actions as reported (in earlier reports) was a stated intention to perform not just a ridiculous, but an unchartered act—an act violating the Minneapolis City Charter.
 +
 +
Who knows what they "actually" did anymore; the scumbag press (prior to this account) either falsely reported them resolving to commit an unchartered act, ostensibly, from our own experience, to demoralize conservatives, or a renegade city council went further and actually did.  Until this is resolved, both parties, including whichever press outlet originally spread this story to keep the idea seriously in play are on the hook for a documented public fraud that doesn't deserve the respect, attention and certainly not an opinion poll in response of anyone.
 +
 +
Like the reason why retailers favor certain Chinese goods, there are certain individuals, not a "movement", forcing this story upon us, contrary to the public interest, imposing upon the public not just a scandal costumed as a popular movement, but one not supported by yet-known facts.
 +
 +
And look what transpired.  Black Lives Matters Marxist-virtue-signals it in the form of a demand; The public authority wielded by the historical reputation of the City of Minneapolis [fraudulently] reflects the signal, or is reported to have, Antifa-Black Lives Matter Seattle receives the signal to set in motion the Seattle seizure of the police precinct and no-go zone.
 +
 +
It's not certain I have the events forestated in the paragraph above in the right chronological order—but then again, it's pretty bad that it's even possible that I do! VargasMilan (talk) Sunday, 03:53, 14 June 2020 (EDT)

Bonus stupidity factor: How is the City of Minneapolis going to treat the police officers of the county it resides in? "We'll block them!" "Uh, er, it depends on the politics of the time."
 +
 +
I'm sure George Floyd's memory is honored by these financial engines located in Seattle dedicated to funding ActBlue, benefiting the same political party establishing the police technique complained about by party activists as especially injurious to those subject to police restraint.
 +
 +
And a party whose reputation needs to be rescued by the pre-evaluation of the reputations of four "white" cops prejudged under the onus of gaps in the visual record (subtracted by...whom? cui bono?), further assuring us of the prejudgers own "fairness" in the evaluation of the degree of racist sentiment of the rest of the force they ran for office in a series of elections to direct, a sentiment from which they are all the while further "benefiting" to distance themselves from evidence of their mismanagement of the very same in the recent past as reported by Ann Coulter in her weekly column and as likewise did other writers

‘Rotten To The Root’: Rep. Ilhan Omar Defends Support Of Dismantling Minneapolis Police
 +
 +
There's a lot to unpack here.
 +
 +
This was the first "news triptych window" in a Google search for Minneapolis, with a picture of Omar (who married her brother as some scheme dodging immigration law and was more of a perpetrator than a refugee in Somalia) filling the window, who knows the least about American institutions to begin with, and so is naturally thought most qualified by liberals like CBS to reform them.  Come to think of it, her moral scolding kind of covers up the unanswered questions of her provenance as well!  But I digress.
 +
 +
Here's a prospective timeline.
 +
 +
1. Minneapolis liberals take in too many Somalian refugees (including Omar) using Minneapoleans' big hearts to tolerate the foreigners displaced after, but not necessarily caused by, Bill Clinton's failed cut-and-run intervention in Somalia.  (I don't know if it actually worsened a civil war that was already flaring up, and it temporarily halted, but people blame it as the start of a series of incidents that made the U.S. look like a paper tiger and emboldened the 9/11 perpetrators).  They cause "black" crime.
 +
 +
2. Minneapolis liberals spend too much money to ingratiate themselves with the voters and depend on overpolicing of its poor residents to collect revenue, fostering hostility of them against police.
 +
 +
I put this in italics, because I don't know if it's true, but it could be a good lead.  It happened in Baltimore, so...  similar results...  anyone?  Well, I certainly didn't see it in the next Google news triptych square.
 +
 +
3. Ann Coulter did the story, but to ingratiate the Somalians with the community, they train a Somalian to work on the police force.  Third-world countries don't have a responsible gun culture like the U.S.A., so out on a call of a middle-aged woman reporting a sexually-based crime she thinks she heard from her home, she approaches the squad car, kind of feeling threatened herself; he is startled, abandons the rules of engagement, and discharges his weapon through his partner's window, killing her.
 +
 +
He had no business being out on this call to compensate for the bad publicity the Somalians were getting, but no one would think to call this all-too-likely tragedy a racist killing.  On the other hand since we know what transpired next, we can see it went from being a racially-neutral accident to a potential torpedo of the excess "white" on black killing immediately after the George Floyd shooting to another level of significance after professional rioters (not entirely successfully) hijack the situation into a national incident, threatening the narrative requiring the patching of the Washington Posts ilk....

::This is an interesting point nobody is paying attention to. In the face of unprecedented unemployment and businesses that may never come back, Congress has appropriated funds for contact tracers (kinda like the old ACCORN voter registration armies). Now, in the midst of this start up program, Democrat governors are forbidding them from performing the function for which the the jobs were created and they are being paid.  They can't ask if they attended a riot or protest.

Since I don't think this has already been mentioned on the right side of the main page, I think it would be important to note the Supreme Court ruling today regarding the "redefinition" of sex and sexual orientation, specifically Neil Gorsuch joining the liberal wing in favor of the homosexual agenda. CP <span class="plainlinks">mentioned back on March 21, 2017</span> Gorsuch's liberal ties, and that was proven again today. —LiberaltearsMay Dataclarifier be well! 13:36, 15 June 2020 (EDT)

Supreme Court's 6-3 vote on transgenderism
 +
 +
"Gorsuch and Roberts’ support for the decision has appalled numerous conservative legal observers, and vindicated voices who argued that Senate Republicans were too quick to confirm Gorsuch’s nomination without further vetting. It also raises grave concerns over the caliber of jurists being groomed and promoted by “conservative” legal institutions such as the Federalist Society ... It remains to be seen whether this ruling will have any bearing on conservative enthusiasm to turn out for Donald Trump’s reelection in November. It is widely speculated, though not confirmed, that Trump’s third Supreme Court nominee would be Judge Amy Coney Barrett, someone believed to be more reliably conservative than Gorsuch or Kavanaugh." https://www.lifesitenews.com/news/supreme-court-votes-6-3-to-redefine-sex-write-transgenderism-into-1964-law

:Gorsuch's argument that discrimination against homosexuals is actually sex discrimination strikes me as a lot of handwaving. But I think everyone has assumed that LGBT was a protected category for a long time now, law or no law. Is anyone surprised to learn that an employer can not legally fire an employee for being gay: "Jeff, you've have been a great worker for the company. But I just can't have individuals of your proclivities on my team -- not that there's anything wrong with that."

:Here is the text of Title VII: "It shall be an unlawful employment practice for an employment agency to fail or refuse to refer for employment, or otherwise to discriminate against, any individual because of his race, color, religion, sex, or national origin, or to classify or refer for employment any individual on the basis of his race, color, religion, sex, or national origin." As it was passed in 1964, it seems unlikely that anyone was thinking that it might apply to gays or trannies at the time. A southern senator proposed adding the word "sex" to the bill in the hope of making trouble for northern liberals who wanted to ban racial discrimination.
