::::::I freely admit, I have pretty much always been a Francophobe and not much of an Anglophile. I'm troubled by modern Germany, although I culturally and historically a Germanophile. I overcame my own Russophobia in the late 1970s and 1980s with [[Solzhenitsyn]]'s help, understanding that that the Russian people were primarily Christian, and not communist. of course, America's loss in Vietnam also played a big part in helping me to see the lies and propaganda in American media, culture, films, etc. about communism and Russia.
