The New Washington Coin differs from all current U.S. coinage in this essential respect: there is no "In God We Trust" on the front or back of the coin. The initial run of coins from the [[US Mint]] were allegedly sabotaged by an operator at the mint, and [http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,257462,00.html do not have the Constitutionally required phrase], "In God We Trust". It is suggested that these coins, sometimes referred to as "Godless Dollars", be exchanged at a bank for properly struck coins, as currency not possessing the mark of "In God We Trust" may not be accepted as legal tender within the United States.
