Final death blow to Mr. Putin? I am not a fan of his and know that authoritarian regimes are often brittle. But even I don't think there is a greater than 1 out of 10 chance that Putin will lose power in the next 12 months. Talking about Putin. That is a nonstarter with me. It's a boring topic. He's just an incompetent bumbler whose surrounded by many yes-men. His central banker is pretty talented though. She has done a great job helping keeping the Russian economy from seizing up. But even she is now starting to getting backed into a corner from all the adverse economic circumstances that Russia faces and she recently alluded to this matter.
