The importance of the Eichmann trial can't be overstated. It was probably the first time the details of the [[Holocaust]] were presented to a mass audience and younger generation after 17 years by an older generation that wanted to forget about [[WWII]] and was busy rehabilitating the [[Nazi]]s into [[NATO]] to combat the [[Russian]] [[boogeyman]], which was [[Hitler]]'s program in the first place.
