A response to [https://foxbaltimore.com/news/nation-world/cia-whistleblower-alleges-massive-cover-up-on-origins-of-covid-19-seafood-pandemic-illness-coronavirus-medical-conspiracies-homeland-security-senate-laboratory-lab-leak the latest article] posted on the Main Page. I have no reason to doubt this whistleblower's testimony. Especially now that pro-CIA neocons like Laura Loomer have responded by peddling insane conspiracy theories like [https://x.com/LauraLoomer/status/2054974699034317078 this one]. With that said, why would the CIA continue to cover up the origins of COVID-19, even with Trump back in office and Ratcliffe running the agency? Both have long backed the neocon-manufactured idea that the virus came from the Wuhan Lab, for which China would have to pay a heavy price. My guess? What I've suspected all along. The US was the mastermind of the pandemic, not China. And if China was involved at all, it was to a much lesser degree than what the neocons claim. So now the CIA is working to ensure whatever is declassified creates a false narrative, and a scapegoat. This means hiding if not destroying the most incriminating documents, and fabricating narrative-friendly documents in their place. As someone who was working in intelligence during the pandemic and along with Mike Pompeo was promoting the "Wuhan Lab" theory early on, Ratcliffe has every reason to perpetuate the cover up.
